Current Logo (1998-present)

Washington Coast PBS is a network of PBS stations on the Washington State Coast. KVNC-TV, channel 11 is licensed to Vancouver, WA and broadcasts with a power of 100KW visual, 10KW aural. KILW-TV, licensed to Ilwaco, WA, broadcasts on channel 22 with a visual power of 1 million watts and aural power of 100KW.  KFRK, channel 32, licensed to Forks, WA is a satellite of KVNC as well, with a visual power of 1.5 million watts visual, 150KW aural. 

History[]

The stations first signed on in 1980. Before 1980, KYKE, KOAP, and KSTS from Seattle, Portland, and Yakima were provided on coast cable systems. Until June 2000, Washington Coast PBS was branded as WCPTV or Washington Coast Public Television. It still had the same logo it does now, but the old logo had public televison instead of PBS.
