History

WPHI signed on the air on August 21, 1987 as an Independent station owned by USA Communications. In 1992, the station was sold to Granite Broadcasting which owned the station until the ongoing 2014-15 US TV realignment which it was sold to ABN Stations Group and ABN Group and became the new ABN affiliate after former ABN station WQQQ became a QTV affiliate.
