WMBS

WMBS (channel 57) is a Horizon-affiliated television station in Myrtle Beach, SC. It is owned by Flower Television.

This station was formerly owned by Gannett Communications, but the license was given to Flower as part of MyTV transitioning to becoming a cable-only network. The station shut down on August 13, but was relaunched on on August 28 currently as an affiliate of The Pride Network.

On September 6, Flower announced that the station would affiliate with Horizon Television, as part of an affiliation deal plus station sales. The station affiliated on September 10. Currently, all newscasts are produced by sister station WLFX.
