WJWX is the ABC affiliate that serves the Schuyler, NY area. It broadcasts on channel 3 and owned by the Hearst Television subsidiary of New York City based Hearst Communications.

From 1981 until 1989 ABC's World News Tonight aired on WJWX at 7 p.m. until 1989 when the station started carrying Inside Edition in that time slot and moved World News Tonight to the 6:30 p.m. slot, reducing the station's weeknight 6 p.m. newscast to a half hour.
