WCLV-TV, channel 26, is a CBS affiliate licensed to Crestwood, Pennsylvania, serving the Pine Valley, PA market, as well as the areas of the Llantano River. The station is owned by Sinclair Broadcast Group of Llanview, Pennsylvania since its acquisition of the station from Raycom Media in late 2005 when they merged with The Liberty Corporation (then-owner of NBC station WPVA-DT). Its studios are in the northern part of Pine Valley, with its transmitter in its city of license, Crestwood. On April 1, 2021 WCLV and WVLE announced to Sinclair Broadcast Group the deal is expected to be completed later on September 20th, 2021
News operation
Presently, the station produces several hours of newscasts, starting with NewsCenter 26 Morning Edition, being the lead-in for CBS' news program The Early Show.
In 1988, the station had entered into a news-share agreement with fellow Fox affiliate WBOU, then owned by Meredith at the time (currently owned by Journal Media Group) and established the foundation for what will be WBOU's news operations today.
