Metwork is Thailand's independent television network. also known as former MTBS. The network is owned and operated by Eraone TV Public Corp.
Early History[]
MTBS started broadcasting on April 3, 2006 as MHTV. MHTV committed test broadcast on March 27,2006 and begin inaugural broadcast on April 3 on same year .The station launched as Thailand's Largest News and Entertainment TV channel. The station started broadcasting on Satellite.
In 2011, MHTV committed the logo contest that controversial because of high costs. MHTV rebranded as MTBS on January 15,2012.
MTBS started HD Digital Broadcasting Test on April 24, 2014 but in May 2014, they had to stop broadcasting in case of Coup D'etat by NCPO. and back to air after ATV5 Simulcast has cancelled.
MTBS has an transmission concession from Thai PBS, the Thailand's public service broadcaster.
In October 1, 2019 Eraone TV PLC has decide to relaunch with new name called "Metwork" and develop to make it better.
News Channel on Digital TV[]
After cease transmission of ThaiTV 17 and MVTV Family in 2015, MTBS got a deal on Channel 15 for Family/Variety Channel and Channel 17 for News and Document Channel.
MTBS has transform to 24 hours independent news channel. with a partnership of MBC Korea for update latest and current affairs eyerytimes. While all Variety Programmes from MTBS has move to Channel O.
