KVQP (channel 4) is a television station in San Fierro, San Andreas, airing programming from the NBC network. It is owned and operated by the network's NBC Owned Television Stations division alongside Telemundo station KTEM (channel 65).

History

Channel 8 originally signed on the air on November 25, 1949 and it has been a primary NBC-affiliated station since its sign-on. However, it was also a secondary RKO affiliate until 1964. From its sign-on until December 31, 2001, channel 8 was owned by the locally-based San Fierro Chronicle Publishing Company, who would later announce its exit from broadcasting and subsequent dissolution; Krueger Broadcasting purchased it and completed the sale on January 1, 2002. On December 30, 2015, Krueger announced they traded channel 8 to RainbowDash72 (now Madison1996). On July 28, 2022, Madison1996 announced that they would divest KVQP to NBCUniversal in order to comply with ownership limits, and the transaction was completed a day later.
