Game Channel (Hindi: गेम चैनल [Gem Chainal]) was an Indian general entertainment television channel owned by Paramount based on the namesake television network in the United States. The channel broadcasted gameplay videos, machinimas, and game animations. The channel was also available in Bangladesh, with a Bengali audio track. The channel was launched on 1 January 2013 and was shut down on 16 July 2019.

History[]

On 5 October 2012, Short Media announced that an Indian version of Game Channel would be launched on 1 January 2013.

On 1 February 2014, the channel became available in Bangladesh, introducing a Bengali audio track.

On 20 June 2019, Paramount announced that due to low ratings, the Indian version of Game Channel would be shut down on 16 July 2019.

The channel was shut down on 16 July 2019. It was replaced by the Southeast Asian version of the channel.
