BRYB (channel 34) is a television station in Broadville, Maplewood, Boem, affiliated with ABC. It is owned by Callaghan Television Company, which maintains a shared services agreement (SSA) with Swift Television Group, owner of NBC affiliate BETC (channel 34), for the provision of certain services.
On June 22, 1978, it became the first Boem television station to be made available via satellite transmission to cable and direct-broadcast satellite subscribers nationwide. Later renamed RYB Television Network, the former superstation feed was converted into a conventional basic cable network in September 1988, which would later shut down in 2002. Alongside this, BRYB maintained programming deals with various independent stations in Boem to air sports and local programming from BRYB.
