On March 31, 2015, a major realignment unrelated to the other currently developing one occurred when ABN and KBC partnered together to acquire the struggling KCER-TV, the station that suffered from low ratings, a poorly-managed newscast, and three affiliation changes since its launch in 1979. The changes included KNIA-TV changing to a Bachmann affiliate, KSPA-TV changing from ABN to TACTN, KMXA changing from Nick Jr. to ABN, KXLR changing from BabyFirst to Bachmann, KVGA changing from CBeebies to KBC, KOTY changing from Sprout to TACTN, KCER-TV becoming an ABN affiliate, WRDL changing from RDN to KBC (and later to Import Network), KQLR-TV changing from Treehouse to TACTN, WDRD changing from Tiny Pop to a KBC/RDN dual-affiliate, the MeTV station DNSFX-DT being created, Cat Broadcasting selling everything it owned (including its budget) to KBC, Fimbles 24/7 closing, Bachmann Holdings starting a new cable/satellite news channel, WQUI removing a BabyFirst affiliation that caused ratings to plummet (and the station to go into temporary bankruptcy) and reverting to PBS, KRDP removing a Treehouse affiliation that caused ratings to plummet (and the station to go into temporary bankruptcy) and reverting to RDN, WUGG changing from BabyFirst to Bachmann, KLRF and WFIM becoming all-Warrior-Cats, the Paramount Network station DNSVP-DT being created for the Spyder Valley Translator District, WTHQ-TV changing from Treehouse to Argosy and then to Import Network and also changing its call letters to WARQ-TV and its DT2 changing from CBeebies to MeTV,  WTEE changing from Tiny Pop to Argosy, WORL changing from RTEjr to Bachmann, the Qubo station DNQBO-DT also being created for the Spyder Valley Translator District, KXFH changing from CBeebies to Bachmann, KABD (formerly KDICD) removing a ABC affiliation and new channel (Channel 4) that caused ratings to plummet (and the station to go into temporary bankruptcy) and returning to Channel 1 and reverting to FOX, KDLA removing a FOX affiliation that caused ratings to plummet (and the station to go into temporary bankruptcy) and reverting to ABC, KRDS removing a Independent affiliation that caused ratings to plummet (and the station to go into temporary bankruptcy) and reverting to RDN, and former independent station KBGN-TV becoming a GBN affiliate.
