Animax+ is a Southeast Asian pay television channel operated by a joint venture between DecemberGroup and Sony Pictures Entertainment, which broadcasts Japanese language anime programming and English-language feeds in Southeast Asia and South Asia, It was launched on 3 November 2004

Animax+ was officially launched in Asia on November 3, 2004 by the companies DecemberGroup and Sony Pictures Entertainment.

Japan[]

DecemberGroup and Sony Pictures Entertainment launched the Japanese version of Animax+ on 20 July 2006.

Latin America[]

DecemberGroup and Sony Pictures Entertainment launched the Latin American version of Animax+ on 25 August 2005, replacing Ani+

Brazil[]

in Brazil, launched the Brazilian version of Animax+ on 1 September 2005, replacing Ani+, on July 31, 2012, Animax + was replaced by the national flimes channel CineBR.

United States[]

DecemberGroup and Sony Pictures Entertainment launched the American version of Animax+ on 31 July 2005, replacing Cartoon Network +1, on November 30, 2013, Animax + was replaced by Cartoon Network+.

Italy[]

DecemberGroup and Sony Pictures Entertainment launched the Italian version of Animax+ on 19 September 2005.

Germany[]

DecemberGroup and Sony Pictures Entertainment launched the German version of Animax+ on 31 August 2007.
