Alabama News Network, alternatively known as the Berfield/Willis Alabama Network, is a network of 13 stations centered in Alabama or covering Alabama counties from neighboring states (such as Georgia and Mississippi) specificially designed to rapidly disseminate information to each station as well as to share equipment such as satellite ENG trucks and reporters' stories. These stations cover all of Alabama's in-state Designated Market Areas (DMA's) as well as DMA's from neighboring states such as Meridian, Mississippi and Columbus, Georgia.
